FAQs

  • The shirt is a classic t-shirt fit, true to size using pre-shrunk fabric.

    Sizing Chart
    Small - chest 19”, HPS length 28”
    Medium - chest 20.5”, HPS length 29”

    XL - chest 24”, HPS length 31”
    XXL - chest 26”, HPS length 32”

Chest is measured 1" below the armhole, seam to seam, on a flat surface.

HPS Length is measured from the high point of the shoulder to the bottom seam of the shirt, on a flat surface.

  • We spent a lot of time finding the right fabric.

What won out is a premium blend of 60/40 ring spun cotton/poly. It had the best combination of softness, wicking qualities, breathability and longevity!

We’re sometimes asked why we didn’t pick 100% cotton for our shirts. Cotton is not a naturally wicking fabric. It’s absorbent (great for towels), but your sweat won’t dry quickly.

So we went with a wicking fabric blend that also has the softness (plus some!) that people love with cotton.

  • To keep your shirt in great shape for as long as possible - wash in cold water, and tumble dry in low heat. If you are the love-to-iron-type, use low heat and avoid ironing anything printed on the shirt.

Avoid regular bleach. But we love OxyClean White Revive which is a color safe non-chlorine bleach. It’s kind of like magic! It made our very beat up shirts bright white again. Of course, feel free to use any brand of non-chlorine bleach.

  • We love this question! Dress shirts all have what is called a placket - that’s the area by the buttons. The placket is 4 times as thick as the rest of the shirt. So that’s the spot where we put our design…it stays hidden behind the placket of a dress shirt!

Most polo shirts, golf shirts and sweaters should also be opaque enough to keep the design hidden.

Just be savvy to the fact that something like a white polo shirt can be sheer. And with a white dress shirt, for instance (which also tends to be sheer), you can just tuck your Bored Rebel in straight to keep the design behind the buttons. In any event, our narrow design shouldn’t cause anyone to have a fashion faux pas crisis. This isn’t like wearing a Led Zeppelin tee under your dress shirt. 😉

  • Just kidding. Nobody asks us this. But since you looked -

This one is shaken, not stirred.

    3 1/2 oz. Aviation Gin

    1/2 oz. Dry Vermouth

    3 Olives

Put the gin in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake it like you mean it for 18.5 seconds. Use a strainer to pour into a chilled martini glass. Don’t forget the olives. Enjoy. Repeat if necessary. Stay safe.

  • Nope! Nothing about this shirt is only for guys. They are unisex shirts and the women here at Bored Rebel wear them and love them!

  • They do not.

  • We don’t currently offer this for website orders.

Our Wedding Collection does have the ability to add custom text in an area below the waist.

For large volume retail and corporate swag customers we have done custom shirts.

  • Not right now, unfortunately, but scroll down to the bottom of the home page to stay in touch! We’ll let you know when we do!

  • A little. However, if you’re thinking of the tight ones with Spandex/elastane - that’s not what these are.

  • First off, we only want to add joy to your wedding day! If after reading this you’re still worried, please just don’t buy them. We want to take stress away from you not add to it!

The print on the chest of our shirts is very narrow - so that it fits under the thick fabric by the buttons on a dress shirt (that part of the dress shirt is called a placket). The placket is 4X as thick as the rest of the shirt. So in that spot nothing is going to show through.

And then if there’s a tie or a tuxedo shirt with pleats - you’ll have A LOT more coverage.

Another thing to consider - not all dress shirts are sheer. White dress shirts do tend to be the most sheer however.

Worst case scenario could be that an inebriated groomsman, for instance, tucks the Graphic Undershirt in super crooked — wearing only a white dress shirt with a narrow placket and no tie — and then you certainly may be able to see a tiny bit of print showing through.
